Heidi Snider Kauffman
Since 1998, Heidi's focus has been to create top horse and rider teams that have brought home championships from the Short Stirrup to Regular Conformation Divisions. Heidi's training program stresses horsemanship, leadership, and sportsmanship at all levels. She earned her Bachelor of Criminal Justice Degree from Seattle University in 1996. Heidi is active in the equestrian community and has or is currently serving on committees including: USEF Zone IX, USHJA Horse Welfare , WSHJA (Vice President), WSHJA Horse Welfare (Committee Chair).
Her horses and riders have received recognition in many local and international competitions. She trains riders and horses at all levels and ability. Heidi strives to build a lasting team atmosphere with riders and their horses.

Megan Chagnon, has accumulated over 15 years of riding and training in the hunters, jumpers, equitation, and pony divisions. While competing and being extremely successful up and down the west coast, she has also competed on the east coast finals circuit. In 2010, she won World Champion Hunter Rider Northwest Region developing professional champion and qualified to compete in the WCHR finals in Maryland at the Capital Challenge horse show. That year she ended up ranked 8th in the nation in the developing professional standings.
In 2013, she realized the same ambitions in one of her children’s hunter riders and after qualifying for the WCHR finals herself, took them to Maryland again to compete in the Capital Challenge. Horse and rider finished 7th in the WCHR children’s finals challenge and ended by ranking 7th in the national children’s standings – a huge moment in Megan’s career.
After successfully running her own training operation, Megan rejoined the Hillcrest Training team to help riders achieve their goals and ambitions.
